Who orders it

What we test
- Hematology: CBC with or without differential, ESR, hemoglobin, and hematocrit
- Chemistry: comprehensive and basic metabolic panels; electrolyte, hepatic, renal, and lipid panels; and individual tests including CRP, high-sensitivity CRP, uric acid, homocysteine, and ammonia
- Diabetes: hemoglobin A1c and glucose
- Thyroid and hormones: thyroid panel, TSH, free and total T3 and T4, T-uptake, and prolactin
- Vitamins and other: vitamin D, B12, B1, B2, B6, and folic acid; anemia and iron panels with ferritin; PSA; BNP and NT-proBNP; coagulation (PT/INR, aPTT, D-dimer); ANA, rheumatoid factor, SPEP, and hepatitis panel; and drug levels for carbamazepine, Keppra, and valproic acid
