Economic Solutions through RT-PCR
Women’s Health and Vaginitis Testing by PCR
Vaginitis symptoms overlap, and treating by symptoms alone leads to repeat visits. Our panels distinguish bacterial vaginosis, yeast, and trichomonas from one swab and identify Candida species that respond differently to treatment.
Our Support
Diagnostic Support You Can Count on.
Because we know every woman counts on you
Knowing that women’s health depends on your decisions, we support providers by investing in advancing care standards, access to testing, and industry-leading diagnostics.
This begins by offering more targeted, molecular diagnostic solutions for symptoms relating to infections uniquely affecting women’s health, at every stage of their lives. We honor this commitment to supporting women and their health by providing essential testing solutions for common cervical, sexual, and vaginal issues.
Our Testing
State-of-the-Art PCR Testing
Ensuring optimal women’s health requires testing that can provide critical insights at all stages of their lives
Detection of vaginal microbiota with traditional culture-based or microscopy-based methods can lack sensitivity and specificity, resulting in interpretations of results that are often subjective, time-consuming, and inaccurate.
RT-PCR can be used to detect slow-growing, difficult-to-cultivate, or uncultivatable microorganisms. It can also be a helpful alternative when traditional microbiological techniques lead to ambiguous results.
Utilizing RT-PCR technology enables rapid and accurate testing, detection, and categorization of microorganisms that cause Bacterial Vaginosis, Aerobic Vaginitis, Vulvovaginal Candidiasis (Yeast), and STIs.

Common questions
How is PCR different from culture?
Culture grows organisms over days and reports what grew. PCR detects organism DNA directly and is not affected by recent antibiotic use or slow-growing species.
What do resistance markers tell me?
They show genes linked to resistance against specific antibiotic classes. They guide the choice of therapy and do not replace clinical judgment.
Can I still order a culture?
Yes. Culture and sensitivity can be ordered with the panel.
Which insurance do you accept?

Our Solution
The TOTAL Women’s Health Solution
Help keep your patients healthy through TLS
By providing advanced, specialty testing, we have the solutions providers need to drive optimal health outcomes through clinically actionable information and industry-defining support.
Misdiagnosis of the specific underlying causes of vaginitis and vaginosis often lead to inappropriate and ineffective treatments and—in some cases —an increased risk of developing serious complications and antibiotic resistant organisms.
With the addition of the advanced PCR testing, healthcare providers can quickly and accurately identify their patient’s infection and prescribe the correct treatment regimen, with the goal of avoiding multiple office visits associated with therapeutic failure.
